+1 Allergy nightmare |
Roman shades are also custom draperies. |
But they aren’t heavy and dated. |
And don’t need to be “custom”. |
10:40 through 11:37 are all the same person. They are really, really passionate about this topic. I think they should ost photos of spaces they feel look beautiful instead of putting every other poster down. |
Already answered. They go to the dry cleaner, just as comforters or nicer linens would. |
Well, as discussed neither do curtains. |
How often? Not often enough for people who suffer from allergies. And then you bring home the dry cleaning fumes. My lungs are tightening up just thinking about it. |
There are many people who posted on here, Boomer. I said they looked dated earlier and then posted a pic of Roman shades. Need a pic of wood blinds too? |
And I wash my comforters and blankets at home regularly. I don’t buy bedding that I can’t wash. |
The same way I have my Heriz rugs cleaned. By a professional. Not trying to be an ass, but I don't think many of you are in the demographic to understand how these things work. I simply cannot imagine putting an IKEA curtain on Target hardware against a room with Schumacher wall coverings. Its OK that some people have more disposable income. Seriously, you will be OK and get through this revelation. |
I think the whole point of “Boomer” as an insult is that it’s only funny if you say it to a Gen X-er and I think in your post you were implying that the person was an actual Boomer which makes it not really work. I’m not that PP but I have PPed about the drapes being nice and I’m a millennial, also just a nicer person than you I think. |
What a pain.Who has time for that? |
Bish please I have dropped all of great drapery details on this thread and I am broke and unemployed. That’s why I have so much time to post about draperies. I have Schumacher wallpaper in my powder room and IKEA curtains in my bedroom ftr. I want all curtains to have triple euro pleats and I think you’re a snob. |
Everyone. |
