I totally agree. I guess Alisha isn’t white enough to please poster. Her hair isn’t straight enough, so she doesn’t conform.

I don't think it's about being naturally curly. Naturally curly hair can look amazing. She just has an awful haircut and it's doing nothing for her, though it does distract from her plain jane face.

PP here, this look is very common among AA women with naturally curly hair, and the round, full shape is pretty common and seen everywhere the last few years. So not sure where you're coming from with the "awful haircut" remark. Second, "plain jane face?" She's on TV for a reason, and I think she's attractive (not that either of our opinions matter!).
