Neighbor with Pest Control van keeps parking in front of our house!

I would also troll Craigslist for the cheapest, ugliest POS car possible and park that baby right out front too. I would make sure it ran and had all the necessary stickers and whatnot. I would move it around but always make sure to park it right in front of your place. I would even let my kids go to town with a couple of cans of spray paint to decorate the car.

So before you confront the driver, consider they may just be a passive aggressive petty jerk like me who could make things worse for you (and totally legally worse).

Wow, while I understand how annoyed you would be if confronted by a neighbor about parking on the street in front of their house (I would be too!) - all the time, energy + money you would invest in getting revenge is a tad overkill I think! 🤨

This person who owns the pest control van doesn't want to park it in front of their house, probably because they don't want to look at it, but they'll park it elsewhere and think it's ok.

I know it's a public road, but geeze, park in front of your own damn house.

You may feel annoyed by this but legally you would not even have a 🦿 prosthetic leg to stand on here.

+1

Just because you’re allowed to do something by law doesn’t mean it’s not rude. So all the people harping on how he has the legal right to park on a public street are missing the point. Tons of rude things are perfectly legal.

There’s a reason people with these ugly vans are parking in front of other people’s houses. It’s not like they’re just randomly picking whatever spot is open if there is no spot in front of their house. They literally want to put the eyesore elsewhere. Perfectly legal, but pretty crappy.
