Just binged 1 and 2 over the last week! Sooo good. I cried in the season 2 finale!

I love love love Anne’s style.

I have come across this site after watching this great show
What a shameful judging shallow group of responses all based around someone’s appearance
The show is about women supporting one another and not beating themselves up when they are
Doing their best
She is incredibly talented gorgeous intelligent and probably has a life far more interesting than yours. Stop berating and belittling a female and instead support and defend her

I recently started watching this series and really liked it.

Only thing I have a problem is that with the title, you kind of feel that the "Mom" part if somehow relevant. It is not. It is just how these women met each other at a lactation consultant's meet up.

There is very little interaction with the kids, and there is hardly any heavy-lifting as a "mom". It is more a statement on their relationship with their spouse, their work colleagues, the people in their lives etc. They are totally checked out as moms - and I think that what makes it so interesting.

I think her weird mouth makes the show oddly compelling. I find a lot of the writing and acting cringeworthy. My youngest is 7, so i think the way new moms are so self absorbed is not that interesting. Carry on.

I watched all seasons. It was like a train wreck I could not look away. Horrible people, all of them, and even though it was a comedy- and trying to be outrageous, it tried to normalize self absorption- as if this is how people kind of are.

Meanwhile, I'm no fragile flower. I like dark comedies. But I hated these people. And the plot line(s) were cheap.
