If this is true and he cheated, good for her for doing the divorce. That's really selfish to date during a separation but reality is its probably happened before or was ongoing before the separation.

nobody ever divorces because they grew apart etc. there is always another person in the picture.

the statement they put out was fakery fake bullshit PR. they put it out because the knew his cheating was about to become public. it's probably a part of an overall agreement they have that involves splitting assets etc.

The articles I read said that he and Mackenzie had already separated before he started seeing Lauren and that Lauren and her husband had previously separated as well. This relationship isn't a secret and if everyone knew they were dating and the dating started after both had separated then so be it. Lots of people date when separated.
