Expectant and Postpartum Moms
| Actually Baltimore Aquarium is offering "labor with dolphins" this year. It's amazing! Best experience ever. |
| Wow! This is hilarous! Swimming with dolphins dangerous?! You people worry too much! You probably shouldn't drive anywhere either. I mean, what if you get hit by a car?!?! Just because one woman, once upon a time was attacked by dolphins while she happened to be pregnant does NOT mean that all pregnant women should avoid such experiences. I think it's beautiful that OP swam with dolphins while she was pregnant! I hope for a similar experience. Fear monglers stay home! Read a scientific article, and RELAX. While you're at it, ease up on the judgements! http://www.livescience.com/38087-can-dolphins-detect-pregnant-women.html |
| I think they can smell your placenta. I've heard it is a VERY distinct scent. |
But not fishy, so I've heard they don't like it! (Nice one, pp) |

FYI, cruise companies and resorts won't let you do anything while you are pregnant: not a facial, not a trip in a jeep car, no snorkeling, no sailing- nada (experiences both in Thailand and cruise to Bahamas)
I found out by being honest first, being sent away, then switching 'booking' person and lying. Then the first person saw me and talked to person n.1 , and went looking for my husband to make sure he was ok with it. It was quite the thing. Anyhow, I was 8 weeks pregnant and got to... Wait for it... ..., Ride an elephant and get a facial. No dolphins were hurt in the process. |
Sounds like Disney. I went this past summer at 7 mo pregnant and if the ride so much as vibrated you weren't allowed to go on it. |
