However, in the meantime, Trump and his minions are making significant inroads in judicial appointments that will negatively affect the lives of my children, long after I am gone.

So I just have to ask again why this is taking so long? I am a not a lawyer, so please don't flame me. Moreover, if Trump/Pence and others are potentially removed from office at some point, do these judicial appointments still stand? If the election of this administration was achieved through treasonous acts, will the actions of this administration be allowed to stand?

These are serious questions I have. I honestly want to know what is taking so long and what recourse do Americans have if our president has committed treason?

His judicial appointments can be impeached, I believe. And should be.

Woah. Liberal lawyer here. And I’m pissed about the appointments. And any judicial nominees that get caught up in probe should be. But you garden variety super conservative judge who has themselves done nothing wrong? No they can’t be. And shouldn’t be. The standard is high crimes and misdemeanors. By the judge. Not Trump. I get. The anger. And I feel the anger. But going down the path of impeaching judges who have been confirmed by the Senate and not committed a crime is unconstitutional.

I doubt you’re really a liberal.

Moderate lawyer. If trump is proven by clear and convincing evidence to have won the election by fraud, I would support removal of his judges. Pence can re-nominate if he chooses. I doubt the Republicans in Congress would have the guts to go that direction though.

Except he hasn’t. For example, the pussy tape, and the blood out of her whatever, and the porn star and mysogeny has lead to building anger among women, which has lead to women marching and organizing and running for office. And Metoo, and 160 girls standing up against an abusive doctor in Michigan. Trump has forever changed the role of women, and made them into a much stronger demographic that is demanding to be heard. More than any other demographic, women will lead a blue wave in 2018. It’s ironic that by belittling women, Trump has powerful force to be reckoned with. Women’s voice are being heard in the way they were not 13 months ago. Meanwhile, what has Teump’s bass, the white working class male gotten. They are trained and dragged down and called idiots. They may like what they see on Fox News. But they are ultimaley being hurt by what they see on Fox News. There is a similar narrative for the dreamers.

As for Trump still being in office, it sucks. But most of his campaign scandals haven’t gone anywhere. We are hanging out in the calm before Mueller’s storm.
In this age of instant everything, sometimes we lose site of the fact the some things, like a special counsel investigation, just take time.

Wow. You are pretty bold. And, uninformed.
Just because YOU support something, doesn’t make it right or legal.
The previous poster is correct.

I’m sorry. Treason is now a “technicality”.

Look at what they did to Flynn. Honestly look at it.

What, threw him under the bus?

Everyone is getting thrown under the bus until there are no more buses.

All of the shoes are going to fall off the centipede until there are no more shoes.

Everyone will end up turning on Trump unless they have already dug in for some reason to try to defend him, and those doing that will be going down too.

It won't be pretty.

No. I’m an actual liberal. But the only provision in the constitution is impeachment. And impeachment requires the Judge to have committed a crime. Remember that Rrump didn’t unilaterally appoint these guys. The Senate was supposed to serve as a check on the president, in exactly this type of situation. The problem here is that Congress didn’t do their job. But the constitutional process was followed to put these guys on the bench. And there is a constitutional process to remove them. You can’t make up your own process as you go along.

I can be liberal and still strongly believe that you don’t violate the constitution.

Also, you may doubt I a liberal. But I doubt you are a lawyer. If you were, you would know that the criminal burden of proof is beyond a reasonable doubt. Way IG her than clearly and convincing. In fact, if you watch Law and Order you should know this. And you would also know that we will never know whether Trump won this election by fraud. Fraud isn’t really the crime at issue. And we will never know if collusion with an enemy power swung the election. If no votes were actually changed, the Truth is we don’t know how people would have voted without Russian interference.

Way higher than clear and convincing...

Mueller's team has made clear it is seeking a sit-down interview with Trump and provided a range of topics.

I can’t wait for Mueller to unload all the charges. The movie this will make. I mean this is the craziest sh*t ever. I just hope America recovers on the world stage. So many other countries now think we’re an unstable ally. So many idiotic trump supporters have no clue what damage this idiot has done in a year. Who knows.

Trump ain’t sitting down with nobody. Not happening. They can send him their questions, or they can proceed without him. Nothing good can happen from a numbskull like Trump talking to professional investigators.

How is it fraud? Not voting machines were hacked and there’s no evidence of collusion

Am I supposed to feel sorry for Mike Flynn? Who was on another country’s payroll while listening to the Presidential Daily Brief alongside the President? Are you f*cking kidding me?
