A pile of racist, mysogynist, classist, colonialist garbage, that also contains a few pretty paragraphs about sand dunes. Overrated precisely because of the insular and homogenous nature of the people tasked with making "best of" lists in the first half of the 20th century.
A fantastic book and rightfully on most lists of the 100 best novels of all time
