DH, is that you? Same for my DH.

DH told me it's the total package, not the height. When we started dating, I did say something negative about our height difference, and he said it didn't bother him at all.

If the height difference is too big, 69 is difficult/impossible with me on top (woman). But that seems to be the only downside.

No, I haven't found 69 difficult and I am 6'5".

+1 we've had no problem either - 1'3" height diff.

Must just be me then. Short torso me, long torso him.

I'd be more curious about how the short women feel about being smothered under his chest instead of being face-to-face or looking over his shoulder...

I find this to be true too. Tall men are confident about their height so height is not an issue to them at all, so they're fine dating someone short. On the other, short men have major insecurities & issues about height, so they find it to be a huge catch/premium to be able to date taller women (close to their height) so they place a lot of importance on the women's height and try to date taller women.

I'm the earlier poster with a new bf who is over a foot taller and I agree about walking together! So awkward. He doesn't want to hold hands usually- it's uncomfortable for him I imagine- he puts his arm around me and I know know what to do with mine! It has no place to really rest other than his back. It makes actual walking so awkward too. Any tips??

I'm a little over 5ft, DH 6'2". I wear high sexy heels so I have no trouble walking, kissing or anything else! We don't find ANYTHING awkward. (He tells me he loves the way I walk and move). Oh and we've been married 38 years, and our son is over 6ft like his daddy & our daughter is petite like me. Maybe tall men aren't for you, if you feel awkward.

Sex toys they want to marry, sure.

Most tall men don't want to marry short women because they want to have tall kids. For sex, short women are great. Spinners. Nothing like having a sweet short thang folded up under you or on top of you or held up off the floor while your standing during sex.

That's stupid. My parents are real short and I'm 5ft1 brother is 5'11. My cousin whose 5'2 married a guy whose 6'3 and their kids are a girl whose 5'9 and a boy whose 6'2.

short woman here weighing at an average of 140lbs but carry it in an hourglass shape. Always have tall guys looking at my butt. They are usually married or single.
