Same here! I'm black and I have many LDS friends. My neighbor is LDS and has the best social gatherings. I also know quite a few black women who are married to men who are Mormon. They are all happy and have wonderful families. It's refreshing to be around happy people. Who wants to be around negative and miserable people? Nice and friendly works for me.


Another black woman here with very positive interactions as well. In fact, I was in professional situation a few years back where my now LDS friend was my only social ally. I plan to visit a friend in SLC next year.
