Nope, It's six pages without any actual evidence she wore that inside a church. And even so, who would care. They do look very happy and the crowds look very happy to see them there. I can't imagine anyone was the least bit offended. And I'll just say again, I love the outfit. She knows how to dress for herself and she glows.

Look, I get that you want to defend her, but come on. This is absurd. You can't possibly be defending this with a straight face.

No, I'm not defending her I'm her I'm defending discussion of fashion in the fashion forum. There is no evidence of an international incident and I like the outfit, I think it's pretty and appropriate for touring. Vogue blurb:

Yesterday in Tuscany, she spent the afternoon shopping in yet another easy, breezy blouse, only this time, it came in an off-the-shoulder silhouette.
The ruffles and lace-up detail lent visually interesting elements to an otherwise simple staple from Club Monaco. Smartly, she tucked it into high-waisted custom BCBG cargo pants in order to offset the flash of shoulder. Both pieces were worn perfectly rumpled, loosening the traditional appeal of pristine shirting and trousers, and doubling down on the relaxed vacation vibes. She added structure in the form of Simon Miller’s oxblood leather tote plus simple shower slides, which felt like an ideal choice for sightseeing on foot. The gold Elizabeth and James cuff and Jennifer Fisher hoops and ring coordinated with the trim on her statement sunglasses, which seemed to say, “I’m having the best time ever.” And from the look of it, we’re inclined to agree.

So to sum up, Vogue, long the arbiter of what is or is not fashionable overrules DCUM where people couldn't pick out a cute shoe if walked up to them and said hello? I can dig it.

Yeah, like Anna Winter is going to say anything critical of the Obamas. Besides, have you seen the shoes that Anna Winter wears?

They could have opted to say nothing at all. But, they didn't. You ladies still wear ugly shoes.

First, shower slides seem like the perfect shoe to sightsee all day on foot? Those might be the worst choice you could make for a day of walking outside.

Second, now that I have a different view of the pants, it's apparent she should've worn higher waisted underwear to avoid that unsightly bulge.

I'm glad at least the purse had structure. The blouse certainly did not.

They're millionaires 50 times over. That's what the presidency did for them.

Who wouldn't be happy?

The money is coming from book sales and speeches. Unlike youknowwho, who has no shame enriching himself in ethically questionable ways. They are also donating a large portion of their income.

Unless you are a communist, in which case I am sorry life is tough for you in the US.

My father made a few million back in the day - doing back-breaking work until he finally owned his own businesses (yes, plural). And this was when a million meant something.

Life isn't tough for me, nor do I begrudge anyone for making money the good old fashioned way.

And where was I even comparing Obama to Trump? So maybe you should get some perspective.

Plus, her shoes are cute and they pick up the line of the top. And the top only looks like a horizontal rectangle because it's been tucked into the very high waisted pant which apparently she had tailored. The top on the website cuts a completely different silhouette so someone had a good eye to pair it this way. Like it or hate it, thought was put into the outfit and it's worth discussion. She's standing between two women who clearly are dressed appropriately for the same occasion, but aren't pushing any boundaries. By contrast she looks fashion forward yet at ease, this is the bread and butter of a fashion magazine--sell the new, make the old look old. But believe it's all a conspiracy to only sell clothes worn by democrats if you must.

Fashion forward? Hardly. That look is fashion VICTIM. Those pants are ugly.

Mid-life crisis. Trying too hard.

I like her, but she always seems like she's trying too hard with her clothing choices. I just think she has poor taste, and people around her are too intimidated to suggest other options. I remember reading once about how Obama made a joke about her large bows or belt, and she shut him out saying he didn't know anything about women's fashion. She used to look very good in her old photos from her days in Chicago, and during Obama's the first campaign. During his Presidency, though, she looks likes she was bitten by the fashion bug, and just wears unflattering clothes. She seems like a rebellious teenager to me, the more people keep criticizing, the worse it gets.

He was worth more than 5 million before he became President. That's what writing two best selling books did for them.
