You're searching for offense. I bet there were a lot of other morons on Twitter last night saying awful things about her. But they have zero power or influence. Face it: Trump shat all over the Khan family and kept attacking them. He said he doesn't like POW's who "get caught." He called our military weak and "not winners," neither of which are remotely true except who those see the military as aggrieved victims (of what???). Trump has zero respect for the military outside of their use as pawns for his popularity. |

DP... Grilo is not being defended here. We are saying there is a difference between a POTUS making denigrating our military people (I like guys who don't get caught, people who have ptsd are mentally weak, I know more about ISIS than the generals) vs a private citizen being a jerk. You Trumpsters have such a low bar for him as POTUS that he can do no wrong. Low expectations = low results. |

...the only reason they entered the political arena was because of DJT's blatantly anti-Muslim rhetoric on the campaign trail. Someone had to show that Muslims can also be American patriots. I wish service members and veteran orgs would have spoken up more forcefully to support the Khan's. Instead, most sheepishly remained quiet. |

The Khan's were using their dead son to garner votes for their candidate. If you insert yourself into a political race you do so willfully, and any push back you receive is on you. We don't know how Cpt Khan felt. The parents were speaking for themselves and their candidates. Last night, the wife of a fallen SEAL was recognized and honored. I am astute enough to not be played, and honor those who deserve it. |
