Two random questions: 1) Worst first name to have? 2) Worst month to be born in?

Fatima is the worst name for a girl.

I think late December is the worst month. DS has a mid-Jan birthday, and we had to schedule a c-section for medical reasons. My OB gave me a range of dates and told me I could pick one, and so I picked the latest. He asked me why, out of curiosity, I'd picked that one. I told him because I wanted DS's b-day as far from Christmas as possible, and he gave me a strange look like "that's an odd thing to worry about." Obviously DCUM agrees with me.

So far, though, it's not too bad for DS. His parties have actually been super successful so far, since people don't have plans in January and parents are thrilled to have something to do with their kids for a couple of hours to wear them out. We haven't had weather issues yet. It's stressful for me to come off Christmas and have to move straight into birthday planning, but that doesn't really affect DS (and then we also have a late Jan bday in the family; safe to say, Valentine's Day definitely gets the short shrift). And it made deciding when to send him for school a non-issue.
