Massive crowd in VA beach Trump rally right now

One candidate and her party are running a presidential campaign. The other candidate is on tour.

Guess you're the one living in denial.

one of us is in denial, and it isn't me.

Nope.
One candidate is out meeting with the people.
The other is catching up on her naps. The hoarseness in her voice is returning. We wouldn’t want a relapse.

Hillary and the people campaigning for her are spending their time and energy getting people to go vote. There was an article in the Post today about their ground early voting game in NV.

Spending money on enormous rallies is an unbelievable waste of time, money and energy. He isn't even holding the rallies near early voting spots or busing people directly to vote from the rally. This is the most inept campaign ever. A fourth grader running for student council would be more strategic.

You will see. Hillary supporters have been out getting voters registered and now they are getting them out to vote early. That is how you run a campaign. Trump's supporters go to a rally, buy an offensive shirt, then go home and watch FOX News, and think they made a difference.

Why you need someone to knock on your door to vote is always baffling to me. I guess low information voters need someone else to tell them there is a presidential election.

Wouldn't you get the same reminder in a rally? They do all kinds of other things at a rally, like registering to vote, registering your emails, phone numbers so you get timely info ... I have seen a few Trump rallies online. They always have local politicians up there first doing the traditional ground game stuff. They are well organized.

They have no idea how to run a campaign. Of course all the angry people who go to the rallies will vote. But they will be overwhelmingly outvoted by the nondelusional majority.

Does anyone think #draintheswamp is a bad hashtag for rallies in Florida?

Didn't he tell his supporters at one of his rallies to vote on Nov 28?...I don't think all the rally attendees support Trump. They want to be a part of history by witnessing the nuttiest presidential campaign ever. I also don't think all those attemdees will bother to vote.

Smart campaigns drag every voter they can find to the polls. Some people mean to vote but procrastinate and never get around to it. "Low-information" or not, every vote counts the same.

This is very very basic campaign 101. That Trump's campaign can't be bothered to have a ground game makes me wonder exactly how he planned on winning. Rallies are nothingburgers. Only recorded votes matter.

It may not matter. And, she may very well win.
But, it should, if nothing else, give Clinton an idea of how many people are fed up with the way things are going in this country.
I doubt she cares.

Or... the size of his rallies could reflect the huge number of retirees and unemployed people, as well as people who want to see a train wreck.

Nearly half of the country did not vote for Ronald Reagan. Exactly half of the country did not vote for George Bush. Yet they all claimed mandates.

The rallies are literally the only thing he knows how to do.
