I think the show is taking a good turn. Previous seasons it was basically "I'm Rick and my group is badass, and we can do anything together".
It's now back to "I'm Rick, and I have no idea how to lead this group and wtf I'm doing anymore". New leaders may arise. Looks like a love match between Ezekial and Carol, or is it just me? I also would love to see Carol save Daryl. |

I liked the second episode, it was nice and kinda upbeat after last week's traumatic & emotional episode.
I liked the Ezekiel character, not at first though because it seemed he was a few beers short of a six pack, the zombie apocalypse messed with his head. But then when he got real with Carol and we see that he is just trying to do what is right and help people out, give them hope I really fell for the guy. He is the total opposite of all the baddies we have dealt with; the governor, Gareth, Negan so it is a nice change But I can't wait for Carol to find out Negan took her Pookie! "Look at the flowers Negan!" |
I think it was a stunt schnoogie, it was pretty epic. |
|
And zombies, Wolves, Negan . . . aren't absurd? I'd rather hang laundry & eat cobbler than deal with what it outside the Kingdom. |

Honey, pet tiger is crazy? When the apocalypse hits, you should stop by and see my art collection, taken directly from the National Gallery. It's really gonna be something!! While everyone else is busy stealing Oxy from pharmacies, I'll be dripping in all the jewelry I've emptied from the lux shops throughout town. You know those $200 Lego sets? DS will have scores of them. The investment in summer camp archery should pay off, right? Hopefully, I can convince him to help us fight our way to the local library. The apocalypse will be so dull without a nice store of reading material. Maybe I'll finally get through Finnegans Wake?! We may not last long, but oh, the sweet leisure of it all!! Motivation, people. And, priorities. Sheesh. Just be sure to keep your pantry stocked. And, stay away from other humans!!

| Do we think Daryl will crack or just pretend to? If I were Negan, don't think I would have kept Dwight around. I understand that it is suppose to show the fear/respect that he can demand from those that have the most reason to hate him. Doesn't seem worth it thought to have Dwight with the wife still around. |
Neither, Daryl won't ever say "I am Negan" because of what Negan did to Glenn. And he knows if he even pretends to that Negan will try to make him do something awful to his own people like what Negan did to Dwight. Dwight is weak and gave up, maybe because of his wife. But Daryl is stronger, he would rather die than become like Dwight. I think Dwight will come around and join forces with Daryl so both of them can get away from the saviors. |
| Why do they all listen to Negan? He threatens their families? |
|
Daryl won't crack. He may pretend to do so. Haven't decided if he'll do that or just stay strong and make a break for it. He's definitely going to form some sort of bond/partnership with Dwight and Sherry.
I loved, LOVED this episode. Gave us some good back story on Dwight and some insight into the cracks in Negan's foundation. You could see the loathing in Dwight's face when he was rubbing it in about Sherry. Norman Reedus was fantastic and it gave me satisfaction to see his grief over Glenn and the role he played in it (Sorry, I do hold him responsible). I can now move on and feel like I "like him" again. I can't wait to see how this all plays out. The tension is building. . . . |

So good. |

Last weeks episode was so good and this song was stuck in my head for days! |
| Yes. I had lost my enthusiasm for Walking Dead but it's back now and I'm excited for this season! |

Negan crazy. How does the kingdom get away with no one knowing about the saviors? Why doesn't negan go to the kingdom like he went to Alex and hilltop? Did no one die from kingdom? Why would negan make a deal to meet away from them?
Anyway, Spencer is going to make a mess of things for everyone. What a child. |
