What would an anal retentive person like you be doing with ex lax?

I walk my dog. He needs to go. I make sure he goes on the 3 feet of grass between the sidewalk and the street. I bag it and throw it out in my trash can. I never knew this was even an issue. I know list servs go nuts about poop that is not bagged but such angst over cleaned up poop is a new one.

And yes your yard has rabbit poop.

Me too. As far as I know it is not an issue with most people...then there is Op.

^Actually I shouldn't say this is an issue with Op. It is an issue with Op's neighbor and apparently the above poster.

Ironically that's against the law....that's animal cruelty. Maybe we should report you to the police so they can trace your IP address.

Yeah I'm sure that's what they will do.

I would flip out on you OP if I ever saw you letting your dog shit on my property. The city may have the right of way, but I have to mow it and take care of it. Take your f-ing dog onto the tree box.

If I ever see dogs shitting on my lawn, I will put poison on the lawn that borders the side walk. Where did some of you grow up? Did your parents never teach you to treat other peoples' property with respect?

Same. I'd poison without thinking twice.

Hope you like prison, then. And an eternity in hell.

Whatever. Dogs are filthy. And you and your house smell like dog, too.
Have you been breaking and entering again?

This is a crazy thread! Most dogs don't poop on demand on their own lawns. And many streets (at least in our neighborhood) do not have sidewalks. We walk our dog around the block several times a day, and she never goes on our lawn. She usually decides to go about halfway around the block. It happens when it happens, and I pull out a bag and pick it up. She usually has very firm poop, so there is no "residue" left on the grass. The anti-poop crowd is ridiculous, especially those equating a dog pooping on a lawn with a person doing the same.

You're a dog owner??

Since no one on dcum seems to spray their lawn, how can you even see the tiny remnants of dog poop in your weedy, patch mess of a "lawn?"
Anonymous
My dogs poo is so cute how can you find it gross? I let him pee on your bumper too. It's to be expected if you park on a city street.

Put those pesticide signs on your lawn. Dog owners will cross the street to get away from the grass.

My dog only marks what he considers to be his territory. If that means your lawn so be it. Natural animal instincts take precedence over man made borders. It is the law of the jungle my friend.

I don't understand why people think as long as the pick up the poop that it is "ALL" gone. It's not. There is still leftovers in the grass. Another reason why I try my hardest not to ever walk in public grass. It's disgusting!!

I hope you vigilantly chase all the squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, etc. from your yard as well because, my god THE HORROR, if they poop on your precious lawn.

Dogs poop. As long as the owner cleans it up, who cares.

I have a huge fenced in back yard. Not once have I encountered poop from a squirrel, rabbit, raccoon etc. And I see them often in our yard. BUT on the front part of our yard that's not fenced, I have found huge piles of dog poop. So yeah, don't let your dog poop in my yard.

Ha ha ha ha. This made me laugh so hard.
PP, do you even know what squirrel, rabbit, or raccoon poop looks like?
If they are in your yard, their poop is there too even if you cannot see it.
And, then there is the poop that comes from above - the birds. And, the geese poop.
People, the dog pooped out of doors. The owner cleaned it up. Neighbor still threw a hissy fit.
I hope the next flock of geese heading south decide to land on your neighbor’s lawn, OP. That’ll show her.

Um, if you can't see it then it's not offensive! I don't step in any of it. There's none on my shoes. My kids don't have any on their clothes. Dogs live big piles of stinking crap. You do notice that. I'm the poster you're quoting and I also know what goose poop looks like. It's not in my yard because there are no geese pooping in my yard. Mind you I love dogs and pretty much was raised in a zoo. Still wouldn't walk my dog on someone else's yard to have them poop on it. It's rude. It's just not that hard.

You do understand the concept of picking it up off the grass correct., I am not really getting why it's on your kids clothes. Maybe they need a SN shadow?
