Why does Kate Middleton look so old?

She is very thin and gaunt. Combined with two small children and the event/travel schedule they have, I'm not surprised she's looking a little haggard. If she gained 10-15 pounds and got a little more rest I bet there would be a drastic improvement.

She does look older than her age. I think it's kids, genes (British women do not age well), smoking - she was a smoker for several years and it's unclear whether she quit, and sun exposure when she was younger. And she's obviously very thin, which is not her natural body type (look at pictures of her prior to her wedding). That said, I still think she's very attractive and dresses well!

I think it's the eyeliner. It makes her eyes looks smaller and ages her face. She's a beautiful girl, she doesn't need all that makeup.

So mean OP. I think she seems like a wonderful and attractive woman. She probably does smoke and she is so thin that she looks older. If she were a little rounder, she would probably look younger. But then, you would write that she looks fat. She can't win.

Stop acting like Kate is soooo tired because she has two kids. Kate is not running a household in DC where she is an attorney juggling two kids and running a household. She has cooks and nannies and a personal secretary! Drivers! People who style her hair and do her makeup! She's not washing a load of clothes while trying to get the baby to eat its formula while taking that call from a client and shhhshing her toddler. Stoppp. Ittttt.

Seriously. I would hate to be in the public eye as much as she is but she certainly would have a lot of help.

She is very pretty. I don't think she is aging well, and I'm not basing that on celebrity aging. That doesn't mean anything though. She'll always be very pretty. She seems like a lovely person and she dresses beautifully. I can attest to the fact that after two kids in your thirties, time can be unkind. At the end-of-the-day though... Who really cares? If I had the amount of social obligations as Kate Middketon, I'd probably look 70. She looks about forty.

She looks about 35-36 to me. Not boasting but I am 33 and look a lot younger than her but I don't have kids.
