Easter egg roll info.

I just got tickets as well, but its shut back down again. My guess is that it will be back up again at some point.

Me too...I get to the Verification Code screen, but then twice got kicked back to the "Choose Number of Tickets Screen" Any tips from people who got tickets?
Anonymous
Once I got past the verification screen and was at the choose tickets it kept coming up unavailable. I just kept clicking the number I wanted and reentering. Eventually I got through and the process went smooth from there.

This whole thing is so ******* annoying. The lack of information, the whole process today.

I was pretty sure I would get tickets if I was in line early enough - which I was willing to do for my family who will be visiting from out of town.

Now this mess.

It's so disappointing.

It's really no different than purchasing tickets for a concert. The sites are always overloaded, tons of people at once want tickets, the screens time out. I believe I pointed that this would happen out to someone on a thread and "they were happy to have the chance to get tickets online rather than sit outside all night for them." You have to figure this is national now, not just local residents waiting in line.

I agree it sucks but I can't say there is much the people administering the site could do.

The last minute switcheroo and the lack of information have been frustrating, but you're right.

I think they should have left it the way it was - then you *really* had to want it in order to go through the trouble of doing it.

What was the last minute switcheroo?

It would be so much easier if they just had online registration for a lottery. Leave the registration open for a couple of days or a week, then notify ticket winner by email. It'd still be open to people outside the area, you'd have the ease of doing it online, but no one would be wasting their day hitting the refresh button.

I agree. That would be better than this, too - this is basically luck of the draw, anyway.

PP - the last minute switcheroo was distributing the tickets online instead of at the ellipse two days prior to the event. It wasn't announced until recently (at least that I am aware of).

My mom just told me that channel 4 news said NO MORE TICKETS WILL BE GIVEN OUT? Can anyone confirm this?

It's a different company running things this year and they are way more unorganized then the one running it in the past.
Anonymous
I think they would have to update the website first.

Why is it on a Monday on a school day anyways?

This was a rotten experience.

I was online from midnight to 1 AM last night. Checked back at 6 and 7 AM. Started trying for tickets at 8 AM and kept at it until 9 AM. Then tried back every single hour for 10-20 minutes all day long. I give up.

If you did not receive a confirmation page then you were not able to successfully secure tickets at that time. Tickets are not available at this time. Tickets will be available at various times through the day ONLINE ONLY. If you were unable to order tickets, please check back later. Please note that only a limited number of tickets are available.

WTF?! When will tickets be avalable agin? Im with PP I have been trying since this morning 8am. Have they stopped giving out tickets? why dont they just give people an estimated time to check back? I would have preferred to stand in line to get my tickets.

same question... been checking actually up to this time..... still trying my luck!
