They can't be surprised that Israel beat them in a war. They should be thankful Israel left a single building standing. The Gazans are a merciless, bloodthirsty lot. But they are not oppressed.

Lol!

Oh. You're being serious, aren't you?

I'm certainly not. I support Israel. I hope Hamas will lay down it's cards and go home and free the good people of Palestine to a better brighter future.

Hamas is home. It is the Palestinian resistance to Israeli oppression. But for Israeli oppression, there would be no Hamas.

Well, maybe, but Hamas might consider Israel's existence as oppressive, and the rest of the world isn't going to accept that. Right now Hamas needs to work with the Palestinian Authority and with the negotiators in Egypt. At least it appears that talks are continuing. Nobody in this crisis is entirely innocent.

I agree that extremists exist on both sides.

If only the Jews would stop existing, then Hamas wouldn't exist. Don't kid yourself that if the Israelis weren't oppressing them, there would be no Hamas. Also, the rest of the Middle East virtually abandons Palestine for a reason. They don't care.

You're probably right. It should be that if there were no oppression, the support for Hamas in Palestine would wither. They only have public support for their terrorist acts because of Israeli oppression. Stripped of their cloak of resistance, if they continued their activities (there are always psychopaths) after there is an equitable place for Palestinians, Hamas would just be a bunch of murderers. But israeli oppression exists, and the acts that they engage in are a direct response to it as well as past injustices that they have endured.

THere is no Israeli oppression, there is only self-defense from bloodthirsty murderous Hamas. Get off this board, Khaled Meeshal.

Arabs welcome them about as much as you welcome Mexicans. I wouldn't use lack of friends in such a judgmental way. After all, isn't that the reason Israel had to be created in the first place?

If there was no Hamas, the world would be a better place. And the Pals could have a decent life.

Is "Pals" acceptable outside of Twitter?

It doesn't look like they had a decent life before Hamas.

It's their own fault they don't have the life they want. They could, but they want Hamas and death and war and beheading Jewish kids and cheering murders. That's what life they want.
