| Well done CM! These historical buildings look amazing and the grounds are supurb. Genuine private school on public purse feel. |
| Does anyone know where the Sherman Building is on the campus? Is it near Lincoln's cottage? It looks like the bus stops right by Lincoln's cottage, so would be great if it is nearby. |
Barf. |
Oh come on. I live there too, walk to the metro and past MV every day. |
Do people really say "barf"? Just wondering if this is a thing still outside of 12 year olds and 1980 Hughes films. |
Ha ha I was going to say double barf. |
| why cant people just be happy for this school and the fact that it found a great location? i have my doubts about CM, but i am happy for them that they found such a great space. |
| +1 |
| How on earth can CM afford the Soldier's Home space? |
It the building right next door to the Lincoln Cottage. It's really beautiful! |
Thanks! Crossing my fingers for the lottery tomorrow.... |
| Good luck! |
| I am the double barf poster. I'm thrilled for CM! And it's in my neighborhood. So I'm really really excited for that. Just grossed out by the "private school/public purse/splendid grounds" comment. Reeks of privilege. If you want a private school go to a private school. |
| Has someone actually posted a press release confirming this move to Armed Forces Retirement Home? Its a beautiful location and I have a golf membership there and love taking my kid for walks around the pond. And would love to be able to get her into a school so close by...but I have yet to see an official announcement and shouldnt it be on the CM webpage? |
+1000. We pass it on our way to Yu Ying which is on the eastern side off North Capitol. It's really nice and glad they got it. |
