There are a lot more women than men as EE men are either dead, dying, or undesirable in large numbers. This imbalance forces women to step their game up if they want a man because they have compete with so many other women.

Furthermore, because they aren't economically liberated enough to not need a guy like your average educated big city American white girl, they know they need to maximize their beauty.

WM here. I can't say how white men in general feel (as if there even was a consensus on such a thing) but generally, nope, I'm not physically attracted to most African American women.

I'm even less attracted to the LOUD attitude. I have no problem with strong, accomplished women, but in my experience people who are loud and aggressive aren't strong, they're overcompensating. I certainly feel the same way about the mountain mommas in Appalachia (and other misc. country girls out in ex-urbia) too.

I don't meet very many educated, accomplished African American women in my daily life, though, so my "sample size" may be invalid. I have known and been attracted to a few in the course of my life.

I believe there is some attraction between the two groups. I remember years ago a white guy asked me for my number in the airport of all places. I was seriously in such shock I didn't even know what to say. It was like I saw a ghost. I would have given it to him, but I'm married so I had to decline. I personally know several black women who married to or dating white men including a friend who just got engaged to a white guy so it seems to be more common these days.

If you know your sample size is small then you shouldn't spout off such stereotypes. It's just as bad as those who say all white men have small penises or are bad in bed compared to black men.

could not agree more. the whole LOUD and playing games culture is a big turn-off. and the physical presence often doesn't help much, either.

I can't speak for EE women/men, but meeting professional AA men is pretty easy if you travel in those circles. DC is a mecca for black professionals and no, 90% aren't women. Most AA professional men I know date interracially but ultimately marry AA women. The only reason AA men with White women stands out is because AA women are the least likely of all women to be open to dating other races. AA men marry AA women at the highest rate compared to other races.

You do realize that you are talking about two different populations right? That 1/6 would not have been someone that the professional black woman would have dated anyway. You are comparing apples to oranges.
