Actions have consequences: not a one of them will be re-electe

Which one of them has asked for a racial equity analysis of the program model? Nobody has done that yet or even uttered the word "race" yet they keep screeching equity

They were unanimous in amending the resolution to include accountability. It was vague. Wish it it pulled directly from OLO Report 2026-2 but it’s something!

To all you Richie riches that complained about my kid going to school with yours, get ready!!! We remember your names and faces.

The sad part is they don't even want the students whose parent make more than they do as they look down on zipcodes. So, now Whitman will get DCC kids... that's going to be interesting.
probably not a lot. Whitman is not an easy commute and Einstein, Northwood and Blair are decent schools

Blair isn't an easy commute in traffic. Northwood is a good school but not a lot of advanced classes.

This would be more meaningful if the analyses was done by a third-party.

Spending more money on outside consultants seems like a waste of precious funds that could be used to rebuild Damascus and Magruder and eventually the old Wootton.

It’s not a waste if you value accountability and transparency.

Also, the money that would be used to pay an outside vendor for that work wouldn’t even come close to the money that is needed to rebuild a high school.

Also, that money would come from the operating budget. The money to rebuild schools comes from the capital budget. Two completely separate buckets of money so your claim is baseless to begin with.

Keep buying analyses until you get the answer you want!

You seriously think MCPS will make itself look bad in reports on its own program performance? You are deluding yourself if you do.

Two budget that MCPS interchanges constantly. There is no bright line. Money goes back and forth.

And, what about the other students not at your W school who are already going without, and will have further reductions because of this?

It was Montoya.

Her claims of racism are rich since she was the loudest voice in favor of closing the only Black-run charter in MCPS: MBLI.

She’s a fraud and a hypocrite. She doesn’t care about Black people. She’s just using them as a talking point to stick it to the people who are against the superintendent’s recommendation.

I fully support H.. that said, Montoya should be called out for saying what she did. Just because one doesn't support H doesn't mean they are racist. I mean, I'm sure there are black/brown parents who are against H, too.

IMO, Montoya is the racist.

That is really nasty. She should be censured for speaking of board members and parents like that.

Wring. Those parents should have been escorted out the third time they interrupted Wolff.

She could not have been more condescending with her people are busy and not paying attention so we need to correct “misunderstanding” ridiculousness. And she literally sounded like she was preaching in church claiming that she and the board are so righteous and brave in the face of foes. I was practically hollering at her from my couch.

+ 1,000 this type of polarizing talk needs to stop. The BOE president needs to gain control of this meeting.

+1 agree. Sick of liberals calling everything racist. It's lost its meaning.
