The Virginia governor's debate is tonight!

Some people used their own GI bill benefits and don’t have any to allocate to their kids, some served before 2001. It is not easy to get a 100 percent rating, the Washington Post hit piece notwithstanding - we fought the VA for almost 10 years before getting benefits for my burn pit veteran husband.

If you can’t afford to support disabled veterans, maybe stop creating so many disabled veterans. I didn’t make the decision to deploy people repeatedly to wars everyone else forgot about.

Anyway, for those affected in Virginia and who care about veterans issues, VMSDEP is only fully funded through 2026. Many of us who have been relying on this program are desperate to see it renewed and don’t want to go through what we did when the program was eliminated with no notice in 2024.

Right. We can blame the Republicans and their previous generation’s “big lie” (WMDs) for that.

Remember the democrats rolled over and gave bush everything he asked for.

The Iraq war resolution was passed in a bipartisan vote. (It was this that caused me to become disillusioned with democrats)

Well that debate just made me change my mind about Spanberger, I am voting for Sears. If someone can't answer questions in a debate a month before the election...they have no business being the governor. Even if I may not agree with all of Sears policies, she came across as more qualified for the job. I can't imagine what Spanberger would not accomplish if she was governor. I feel like she would say one thing to get voted in, but then do something else.

Hah, yeah, sure. Totally believe you.

Which part of Sears performance did you like? The constant interrupting? The part where she didn't understand how solar power works?

Apparently people think debates are won by whatever person screams incoherently the loudest.

Sears has a major uphill battle to win. She’s
1. Black
2. Republican
3. Woman

Which part of Sears performance did you like? The constant interrupting? The part where she didn't understand how solar power works?

Apparently people think debates are won by whatever person screams incoherently the loudest.

Tell she came prepared to scream because republicans are dumb they don’t understand policy they want blood

Remember that quote from Andor:

"The death of truth is the ultimate victory of evil. When truth leaves us, when we let it slip away, when it is ripped from our hands, we become vulnerable to the appetite of whatever monster screams the loudest."

Republicans have decided to be the monster that screams the loudest. Truth be damned.

A sprinkle of punctuation would make your posts sound more intelligent.

Do you remember that in Andor, the rebellion became just as corrupt and mired in bureaucracy as the Republic?

I’m catching up on the debate. I’m not a Virginia voter, but I’m interested in this race. The fact that Spangler wants and is OK with boys and girls locker rooms would losemy vote. This is something I am, as a Democrat, against.

Her word salad answer was dumb.

Spanberger seems like the type who would author strongly worded letters, very strongly worded letters, which would accomplish nothing.

I am 100% voting for Spanberger. The Republicans have completely lost their minds.
