SCOTUS will say that it is ok for the president to remove black women from the feed, but not white men. Let’s call this what it is- a fascist purge. |
Well, Mr. 34 felonies has shown that you can be a criminal and still be president. And do you really want to go there with Trump calling others a liar? |
Independence from the unitary executive is unconstitutional. It's easy being SCOTUS these days. The standard of review is does this benefit a Republican administration? |
So we shouldn't follow the law? The PP points out the relevant fact of the matter - whether or not Ms. Cook lied on her mortgage application. Then you screeched about Trump being a felon so nothing matters. Don't make it so easy for people to dismiss you as a lunatic. |
| Stop taking him seriously when he says things. They pull his string, he repeats what he’s told, and then they see if anyone believes it. |
People emulate the President. |
Let's call this what it is - Trump removing her because she is a Black woman. |
He’s going to try. But I think that we’ve all seen that he’s a complete taco whenever anyone pushes back. They count on people complying with stupid and illegal orders. |
|
He’s preparing to replace her with a loyalist. Totally normal.
Trump is considering quickly announcing a nominee to succeed Lisa Cook at the Fed. He said he might appoint Stephen Miran, a close economic adviser, to succeed Cook, whom he is seeking to remove from the central bank’s board of governors. Earlier this month, he nominated Miran to fill a different seat on the Fed’s board. Cook, the Fed's first Black female governor, mostly avoided the spotlight before Trump tried to fire her. —WSJ |
Stephen Miran is an ideologue. He said that tariffs would push up the value of the dollar against other countries’ currencies, which would in turn reduce the prices of their goods measured in dollar terms. The opposite has occurred. We'll be at 20% inflation in no time with him at the helm of the Fed. |
So it's ok for anyone to break the law now? Do you hear yourself? |
It has nothing to do with whether or not she committed fraud. He’s already said he wants to take over the Fed because he wants to control monetary policy himself. That is his goal. They would’ve found something on someone on that board in order to clear the way for his own appointee(s) and his eventual full control. He’s not hiding it. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/08/26/trump-fed-majority-cook-interest-rates.html |

Those commies at the National Review want Trump to back off.

Are you listening to the President? If anyone he likes breaks the law it’s fine. There’s been no evidence presented that she broke any law. |
So anybody can make an allegation against anyone and they have to prove their innocence. How are Americans so freaking stupid. If I knew you, I would swat you so that you can prove your innocence. |
