Possibly. I understand his investigations into Dems electeds ended up with research into him and, by extension, his family. Appears that his dad and stepmom claim 2 residences as their primary and the MI state government is looking into the allegations.

He should.

Interesting enough, they did find that pulse’s dad and stepmother had violated the residency homestead rules. I guess that’s why Pulte is not showing his bulldog face and droopy jowls in public lately. Freaking scumbag he is and all of DCUM posters who were ready to convict the woman on a mere allegation. Mob mentality, some of you posters. Disgusting. wait until karma comes for you or your loved ones

And how can Pluge tweet images from a citizen’s confidential file that he is only allowed to access for legit government purposes??

Where are the checks on Executive power built into the Constitution. So much for R’s favoring small government.

Are they selectively investigating, or are matters being reviewed and the names of prominent people - who should know better - coming to light? Nobody forced Schiff, James, or Cook to sign their mortgage papers.

If it isn’t entirely clear by now, yes they are very clearly selectively prosecuting. Bill Pulte is trying to get the USA at EDVA fired because they declined to prosecute James.

“Pulte and Martin have argued that James committed mortgage fraud because one of the documents related to a 2023 home purchased by James falsely indicated the property would be her primary residence. However, investigators have so far determined that the document -- a limited power of attorney form used by James' niece to sign documents on her behalf when James closed on the home -- was never considered by the loan officers who approved the mortgage, sources said.”

Lawyers drafted the document itself for a third-party closing company based on a template that was never corrected, sources said, and every other document in James' loan file for the mortgage accurately stated that she would not reside at the home.”

Is Scott Bessent the fourth or fifth Trump Cabinet member with multiple mortgage loans for multiple homes as primary residences?

So

What do you think SCOTUS will do?

Regardless of the trumped up charges, will it side with Trump

"If Trump is successful in dismissing Cook, it would mark the first time a Fed governor was fired by a president in the central bank’s 111-year history"

Between this and Kimmel, Trump might as well use the Constitution as toilet paper, we're no longer a democracy.

If he can fire a fed governor for an entirely made-up reason, then the “for cause” provision doesn’t mean anything at all.

SCOTUS will rule that an allegation from the President is "for cause" because of Article II.

Probably. But it makes Roberts look like an even bigger fool than he already does after wrote his "the fed is special" opinion.

SCOTUS will find that credible evidence indicating a vexatious prosecution does not overcome a groundless presidential accusation when determining if there was cause for firing.

https://www.reuters.com/business/finance/us-treasurys-bessent-made-contradictory-mortgage-pledges-bloomberg-reports-2025-09-17/

WASHINGTON, Sept 17 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent previously agreed to occupy two different houses at the same time as his "principal residence," Bloomberg News reported, an agreement similar to one President Donald Trump has called mortgage fraud in his unprecedented bid to fire Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook.
The Bloomberg report, published Wednesday, cites Bessent's mortgages with lender Bank of America and his pledge in 2007 to primarily occupy homes in New York and Massachusetts.
