Anywhere to stay besides Beaches resort?

Oh, don't stay there. We've stayed at The Palms and Grace Bay Club . . . both nice, and I'd choose The Palms again if I went back. Just beware that if you go during spring break or the winter holidays, you should book your reservations for the better restaurants well in advance.

Grace Bay is lovely no doubt. But the bold is true for many Caribbean beaches. Several in Anguilla. Palm/Eagle beaches in an Aruba, Out islands of the Bahamas, St. John, the BVI are all places I would put up there with Grace Bay.

I've been to many islands, and Eleuthera had the most fantastic beaches of all . . . the finest sand, the clearest water, the most vivid blue hues . . . and they are quiet and uncrowded. French Leave Beach has beautiful pink sand; Ten Bay has calm, clear water that is shallow enough to wade out into for hundreds of yards; Lighthouse Beach, where you can see the Caribbean meet the Atlantic. If you love beaches, go!

Grace Bay was great if you like white sand and clear water.
But not very interesting.
