So I suppose that means that if you try to contact [e-mail], you'll get a cookie cutter reply about your input is valuable and thank you for sharing, but your email won't actually get to or be read by the BOE members...

Has anyone answered WHY this happened? This is awful. To think of people who may be dangerous being around our kids on the daily is so scary. Like someone who committed domestic violence or worse. There is a reason for the background checks. Who made those decision not to do the checks?

And are all the background checks going to be done for the first day of school? I would expect them to work around the clock to get this done.

If you PP gets answers to your questions, it will be a complete surprise just as it was for many to learn that MCPS has not followed proper protocols yet the Superintendent, the staff who are responsible for overseeing all of this are still employed. F unbelievable!

School provides names of regular teachers, do the same when there are substitutes, para educators and their subs, volunteers, interns, high school student, supervisor et al..

Kid has had handful of subs already this year. They don't write their name. Call central office and report that school(s).
