Yep. This was pure theater. He planned to assault the officer.

He grabbed on to the immigrant and "threatened" that he would not let go.

That is not assaulting anyone. He never threatened or assaulted any officer.

He obstructed arrest and then fought the officers as they were trying to separate the two.

So what? A couple masked guys were attacking someone.

Ooooooo…. “Masked guys”. Are we supposed to think they’re scary?????

“I will let go when I see the judicial warrant”

He went hands on with a federal agent during an arrest. This is what happens. BTW, I saw men wearing items of clothing that identified them as law enforcement.

At this point I think we can all agree that these democratic lawmakers are making a scene in order to get arrested. Probably to raise their profiles. We see how that worked out for Ras Baraka.

That video shows the story. The politician was forcing his way into the immigration arrest.

You saw what you wanted to see, not the truth.

He wasn't pushing. They were pulling him. The guy with his face 100% masked to the side of him clearly has his arms around him, pulling him forward.

The ICE agent said let go.

Mr. Lander said he would let go when he was shown a warrant.

The officers gave him time to comply and he did not.

Putting your hands on an ICE agent to interfere with an arrest is a crime.

Correct.

And when you assault any federal law enforcement officer who has arrest powers, that officer has full authority to arrest you.

There was no assault of a federal office by Lander. That is just a total fabrication. The video is right there to see.

These people will lie to themselves, each other, and anyone that will sit still long enough to listen.

Every one of these people gets falsely arrested or detained should be suing. At the very least we’d find out if they are rallying officer or bounty hunters.

Do the bounty hunter scum have qualified immunity?

Suing the people who are running around falsely arresting people should be sued. Does anyone know what they can be sued for? Will ACLU take up some of these cases?

lol. Good luck with that.

When did democrats become so against law and order and law enforcement?

Civil immigration enforcement is a warrantless detention. Perfectly legal.

ICE warrants are Administrative, not Judicial, meaning they’re signed by an agency staffer.

Thanks.

the clowns running DHS and ICE are shameless

https://www.yahoo.com/news/ice-detains-u-army-interpreter-164420726.html

"ICE agents arrested a former interpreter for the U.S. Army after he attended his asylum hearing in San Diego.

The man, who reportedly risked his life to aid American troops in Afghanistan for three years, was placed in handcuffs by a pair of immigration officers who concealed their faces with neck gaiters.

His arrest was captured on camera, with the agents moving to cuff him as soon as he walked out of a hearing on the fourth floor of a downtown courthouse, the Times of San Diego reported.

Yeah, get him,” one agent says to another. “Take him. Go ahead, take him.”

The former interpreter appeared shocked by what was playing out.

“I came here to make a better life,” the man pleaded in the clip. “I didn’t know that this would happen… I worked with the U.S. military. I worked in a very dangerous part of Afghanistan with the U.S. military.”

Attorney Brian McGoldrick asked that his client’s name be kept anonymous because he will likely face persecution by the Taliban if he is ultimately deported to Afghanistan. McGoldrick told the Times that the man was a translator for American troops but also assisted the U.S. Army logistically on the ground in a war zone."

I don’t know about scary, but these “ICE agents” are clearly ashamed of themselves and/or afraid of retribution if they are identified.

Well. Our troops should not expect to get any help from Iranians when they go into to find Iran’s nukes then. I hope they’re brushing up on their Farsi.

They still get paid and DOGE has all the info.

If we ever get this country back, let's go through the rolls.

Just following orders isn’t good enough...

JUST NOW: NYC Mayoral Candidate Michael Blake speaks at a protest in support of Brad Lander: “Trump and his garbage ass ICE continues to break the law, continues to deny us who we are as a people. It’s a fascist government that is trying to create fear for every single one of us for standing up for what is right” (Video: Claudia Morales)

Every ICE and FBI agent will be in prison or on the run. These people are a true threat to US citizens.
