Mostly, to very early 20s. |
| Glad people are turning out! Wish we had ranked choice voting. |
| There was a steady stream of people (and a line) at my voting location. It's been that way all day. Nice to see what looks like a good turnout for "just" a primary. |
| Stella’s people (I also noticed teens/early 20s) were out in force at South County MS. I voted for Walkinshaw though! |
Same at West Springfield Government center. Many of the candidates had people there answering questions and handing out fliers. They were tossing about that Pekarsky is "teacher endorsed". Blech. |
| When will we know results? |
Stella is not teacher endorsed, only one teacher union has endorsed her. Yet that union president is acting like all FCPS teachers support Stella. We don’t. |
| Walkinshaw won |
Where are you seeing the results? |
I don't know if they post numbers of results. I just saw that Walkinshaw won. If you check the twitter accounts of the candidates you will see the concessions. |
| Confirming Walkinshaw won. Stella conceded. Multiple posts congratulating Walkinshaw. |
| Good. Stella Pekarsky was spectacularly unqualified and would have been a disaster. Whatever led her to think she was remotely qualified to be a member of Congress? |
She had LOTS of campaign money. Probably figured "why not." Agree, she would have been terrible. |
| I’m glad Walkinshaw won, but I would have been ok with any of them other than Stella. |
FAIRFAX GOVERMENT CENTER. They were young. |
