Another Child Left in Car Death - MoCo

Men shake that many babies to death every week. NBD.

It's the shoe trick. Seriously. ALL DRIVERS who drive with kids in a car (including parents, grandparents) should immediately upon entering the car, take off their shoe and throw it in the back. Act as if it is fundamental to driving - as though the car won't start until you do. Pretend it's the law.

No one is going anywhere far without a shoe on.

JFC. Are people really this stupid. Sadly yes they are

If someone is dumb enough to forget their child, they'd be dumb enough to forget their shoe as well.

Those people are prosecuted. It is an active choice. Just driving your kid is more likely to cause them death or injury than the likelihood that you will leave them in a hot car but people let other people drive their kids without a thought, they don’t make sure if they always have a booster because it’s more convenient or it’s a short drive but they are all up in arms about this horrible but very unlikely thing.

If you are worried about leaving your kid in the car then you need to modify your life.
