Just another redditor who thought they stumbled on the next really kewl troll, they've dropped the same line elsewhere over and over. |
And this comment is so unhelpful. C |
NP. How is it unethical to have a family business? That’s what PP is describing. |
| A friend told me just yesterday her son has been looking for employment in his field for the past two-years. He graduated with a degree in ITS. |

I suspect those who will be do the best in the job market will have skills not easily replaced by AI. Example: Physical therapists, nurses, certain doctors.
I don't know how the species survives if we replace humans with AI. Where will the money come from to keep the economy going if people do not have jobs? |
| He needs to go for a Masters. |
| I feel for your son. The job market is really awful. I’m in my early 50s and tried to return to work after being at home (too long). I have a masters in my field, management experience and extensive volunteer work. I kept submitting resumes and didn’t even get screening interviews. When I finally did get an interview, I took the job as soon as it was offered because I was afraid another wouldn’t come along even though it was entry level. It’s a frustrating and demoralizing process. DD graduated in 2024 and is seriously underemployed at her job but she had no other offers. My advice would be to volunteer. Many times volunteers have a foot in the door when a paid position opens. If not, he is still gaining valuable experience. I hope something works out for him soon. |
Super helpful and empathetic. Thanks |

Reminder to “pay it forward”!
Please support, mentor if you can or able in anyway to get our new graduates working. TIA, |
| Stop blaming the job market! Trump is making jobs plentiful again for those who are skilled and willing to contribute to society. Teach your children to hustle! |

I’m sorry OP. I hope your son has good news by now. My 2025 grad just started his job this week. The company told his cohort of 10, across the country, they got 3,000+ applicants.
He’d had two great internships with writing credits, submitted 250+ resumes and got that one offer. Many friends going back to school or hanging out because of no jobs. |
Where are these plentiful jobs? Do you know a single graduate from 2025? Do you read the paper? Do you know a Trump sychophant will now be reporting jobs numbers? |
Trump is making jobs plentiful? I need details. Where? What kind of jobs? |

| Honestly, I would never hire anyone from gen z until they gain life experience. They’re so sensitive and weak. Many of them get exhausted from working 40 hours a week even in sedentary white collar jobs. I would much rather hire someone from the millennial or gen x age group. |
