Apparently you didn't read the article or you weren't persuaded, because it argues AGAINST gradations of 1st amendment rights where aliens are concerned.

Yes it does. The reason the author makes that case is bc, contrary to many assertions here, it is not clear to what extent the 1st Amendment applies to aliens,

The author’s discussion of the law is excellent. Should be required reading for every poster who wants to opine on the subject.

Ultimately, no, I’m not persuaded by the author’s argument. But it is a good one.

No one is imprisoning you, depriving you of life or property etc. You are simply being removed back to your own country. Justifiably.
