Says the person who’s ALSO spending too much time on here? That’s rich. We know who you are by your unhinged comments. |
I think there will be school tomorrow with a 2 hour delay to make sure everything around the school buildings is cleared. |
This is what should happen but never under estimate APS’s inability to reopen school in a timely fashion. |
WE ARE 3 |
My street still hasn’t been plowed. I bet they cancel Wednesday too. Back in 2022 we had the same amount of snow and they closed for a week |
That was because they couldn’t get teachers to show up post covid. They were barely able to get enough teachers to show up with no snow. I remember that Friday they said they were opening and then had to rescind and close due to staffing issues. |
Good news they have 24 hours to get to you. |
Okay? Many teachers live in Fairfax. It’s a mess over there. |
Yet so many other workers are managing to get to their jobs TODAY!!! |
+1 I'm a teacher and there is no good reason we can't be in tomorrow. We have better pre-treatment and treatment of roads than we did 20 years ago. We can drive on snow. If a teacher's car gets stuck, they can call in. But most of us will get in OK. |
I'd be unsurprised by a delay to allow people time for hiccups and to ensure no one is hurrying in slippery conditions. |
Yep. As usual libraries and community centers already open today. Somehow they manage. Their workers probably don’t live at their job and might even have childcare issues too. |
God you sound awful. The teachers were SICK. |
they probably don't take a school bus to school. |
Seriously? Do you know how many of my kids' parents took a public bus to get to work today? Their kids can get to school and so can the teachers. |
