There are community norms and they can vary from place to place. Wildwood clearly has a community norm of allowing parking in the fire lanes.

OP is more than welcome to park and feel superior for doing so. OP does not have to follow the norm of Wildwood, but she also cannot tell others what to do.

No, Wildwood has a lot of entitled customers who know they won’t be penalized for breaking this law. Like kids who spray graffiti on public buildings.

Huge black SUV owners with private school teens in stupid plaid skirts- the rules apply to you as well. Park your damn car and let your kid walk the 10 steps to pick up their drink and Bethesda Bagel. This is not a school drop off lane. You don't have the right to block traffic while you idle your car under a no stopping/standing/fire lane sign.

And no I'm not jealous, my kid attended a 80k per year undergrad. You just suck.

If you're going to go that route, then please stop having WJ students being menaces all over the parking lot. Thank you!

Yeah I won’t go there because of the parking lot. Don’t care if they are selling the cure for cancer there, won’t go.

This is a fake story, everyone knows all the huge private school moms drive WHITE SUVs (seriously, once I parked there and the entire row was white luxury SUVs!)

+1 facts.

There’s one in Kensington and that’s a whole other small parking lot mess

I honestly don’t understand what the big deal is. It’s a quick in and out and alleviates the parking issues for people who want to stay at the shopping center.

People need to calm down - you can wait 1 min for people to run in and get their coffee! If you are in a hurry, leave earlier!

Noooo
Cars have to go around you which makes an already tight lane two way. It's unsafe. Park your car and walk.

The big deal is that you don't have to right to stop in a fire lane that says no stopping no standing. The rules apply to everyone, including you.

Why cant YOU leave earlier so that you have time to park your car like a regular human and walk in to get your coffee? Or is it just me that has to adjust to your illegal parking?

This is the type of person that is the problem, and why there’s no hope.

It’s actually the reverse - driving all over the parking lot increases the risk of an accident vs a quick stop to run in and get something which takes like 30 seconds

I'm talking about the danger and liability to ME having to go around you as you idle in the no stopping zone, dumbass.

The sbux ceo commutes from Newport Beach to Seattle by private plane. He’s a total leech on society and destructive to the climate. Every penny you spend at sbux flows to him. Just don’t go to sbux.
