People really need to stop making politics the center of their personal being. It’s just not healthy.

Good for him to free her from him

This response is exactly what DS was talking about, I see how it can and is exhausting to live with for anyone. You sound like you may need some anger management help. Good luck.

NP. So you are a proud parent of a someone who endorses rape, theft, bullying and more. There are a lot of you and your son will find some gal who doesn’t mind that character flaw in a person. No need to get nasty.

Ignorance is bliss.

Do you even really know that man?

DP. I wondered the same thing. Don’t ask don’t tell. Stranger in my bed. I don’t know the man I’m married to.

Still not a good fit.

Strong political beliefs are not exactly attractive in a woman. OP's daughter will probably replace the bf easily, but the issue is whether the next guy will be an upgrade or downgrade.

What a gross outlook. I'm glad women have a political voice and choice. People who don't care about this stuff are lacking depth of character.

Caring and obsession are two different vehicles in life. Crossing that line is damaging in so many ways.

Yes, the obsessive worship of Trump by MAGA to the point where they deny reality and defend his easily-debunked lies is so damaging to them and to our country. It's cult-like behavior and so hard to deprogram.

MAGA/President Trump are dealing with reality. VP Kamala Harris lied repeatedly during the 107 day campaign in an attempt to trick voters. VP Harris lives in a fantasy world of celebrities and the ultra-wealthy who thrive on telling others what to think & believe rather than focusing on listening to voters' real world concerns.

The right person & party won. The far left was just focusing on silly issues that are a sure sign of a society's downfall. And, before you guess/assume my politics, I am a registered Democrat (which will change soon) and I respect & adore Independent Senator
Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Nicki Haley, Joe Manchin, and many others holding opposing positions.

Your post completely proves my point. More MAGA projection of Trump's ACTUAL sins onto Harris. Totally delusional.

Easy to say when you are a white male (or any male). Shocking how many people cannot have empathy if it does not literally personally affect them.

Meh it doesn’t affect her either. She just chooses to have it affect her. And the son is free to decide he doesn’t want that negativity dictating his life. Good for him!

Well we can all see where he gets his privileged, cold, unfeeling selfishness from.

I cannot get an abortion in my state because of Republican votes and I may get criminally prosecuted if I get one in another state.

It’s not just a vote, it actually shapes my life.

There are dozens of issues to worry about that are more important than abortion. I’m pro abortion. I’m not going to become a single issue voter over it. Sorry not sorry.

You should ask yourself why didn't the Democrats create an abortion law and get rid of the judicial opinion (which was never law) when they had control of the government over those many years? Could it be they wanted to keep it as a hot button issue to dangle in young women's faces each and every election season? They should have handled this and not played games with it, but it is in the state's hands now and will never be a federal law, the votes just won't be there so in the states it will stay. More control there as a local voter I would think, but that will take time too.

When you vote for someone -- you do not endorse them. When you endorse them -- you actually do not endorse them in the way you mean. Voting for someone does not mean you support everything. I voted for Harris and there is not a single thing I agree with her on. If she had won -- which I hoped - I hoped she would be a complete failure and a one-term president. Voted for Hillary as well but feel the same.

Most people that voted for Trump do no endorse or agree with much of what he says. For some -- they love Trump and what he stands for. Others looked at this and said despite all fo the issues -- he was better than her.

She had no idea he felt the day he did, is it normally to brake up with someone mostly because of politics reasons? She's a 25 year old preschool teacher.

If he voted for Trump that is a perfectly rational decision.

I can completely fathom ending a relationship because someone voted for Donald Trump. In fact, I have. Those people, who are despicable traitors who hate America and everything it stands for, are dead to me.

I can see my DD not continuing a relationship with someone who didn't value her reproductive freedom.

So many issues so you don’t have to become a single issue voter.

He tried to have his VP murdered.

He fumbled the ball with COVID and 1M died.

Do you understand at all how our government works? Congress has been useless for years. GOP portion does nothing but obstruct. They wouldn't even confirm Obama's appointees and judges back in the day, let alone go along with an abortion law.

Democrats and their sycophant media completely lied and mislead the public by hiding Biden's dementia.
The result was what you witnessed last week.
Nobody trusts them.
