Foxhall stops OB support for DD after 1/20/25 - help new provider recs??

New poster to this thread and totally agree. She also delivered my first and I am certain that had any other OB been on call, I would have ended up with a c-section. She is an amazing OB. This is a really shitty situation for Foxhall patients!

I scheduled my follow-ups at GW. Transfer process was smooth. I had my first baby there before COVID.

Any recs on OBs the deliver at Holy Cross? I was fine going to Sibley bc of Foxhall, but HC is so much closer.

I feel for everyone that's much further along, this is crappy.

I highly recommend the CWC at Georgia and Dennis. Dr. Resta, Dr. Band, and Dr. Lin were my favorites there. Dr. Resta performed my c-section, and a tricky ectopic removal a year prior to that.

Ironically I was going to call today to make an appointment with her. I’d planned to leave Foxhall now that I’m done having babies for a more convenient location. Bloom is walking distance from my work!

Surprising. Why leave if she isn't going to do OB? Is what's left of Foxhall that bad? Surprised they didn't just sell the practice to CWC if that's the case and keep everybody.

From what she told me, she made the decision to leave and start her own practice before Foxhall made the decision to stop doing OB. She had already put in her notice so I guess was out of the loop on what the rest of the group was planning. She told me that she found out that Foxhall would no longer be doing OB the same day the patients did. I'm not sure what that implies about what's going on behind the scenes there...
