Another liberal who loves diversity! oh, wait...

I do love diversity. Does that include this extremely weird and backwards person? Nope.

You don’t though. What you love is your echo chamber.

Yeah, that must be why the right wingers are the ones who invented tons of media outlets to only tell them what they want to hear.

The park is really popular with tots and little ones - I thought he was pro-family, or is it just a farce? Or maybe he wants to hang out with the park benches for some alone time at night?

It is because the party of joy, tolerance and hate-has-no-home are anything but.

Why are they terrorizing this family? Especially the wife and children. WTF.

Who is terrorizing the family?

No one, the Vance defenders are just massive snowflakes.

DP - oh, they invented cancel culture?

Liberals canceled a few right-wing bigots and the conservative snowflakes cried hard about it, if that’s what you mean.

No one’s messing with them, except in their own wounded minds.

DP- 3 small kids live there and Del Ray lots are tiny. That wack job made a point to post up in front of his home to sew yarn messages onto a telephone pole with the sole aim being to make his family feel unwelcome.

Defending that kind of behavior gives us all insight into the health of your own mind. Yet another example of Dem’s not respecting the innocence of children. Guess it tracks.

There's more of that great Del Ray hospitality!

Everyone is welcome here!!!*

It's hospitable to close down a public park next to your house?

"We love families and kids!!!" Well no, we don't, no public park for you.

You think Vance closed the park? LOL. It was the pink haired lesbians that closed the park.

Ah, yes. The old “liberals are hypocrites pretending to be tolerant when they aren’t!!” And then you say something like this.

DP - all objective facts.

"Hate has no home here."

The good ol' "It's hypocritical to hate people who peddle hatred" chestnut.

Hatred being defined as "things I don't like."

+1.

Thew only hatred being peddled is by the ladies on Next Door tryinh to establish a shunning campaign. They even suggested a boycot of Holy Cow because they fed Youngkin. These people are seething with anger.

I think both parties have their version of incel and these types fit the bill.

Huh? Do you read? Most of the current day’s outlets are left leaning. Google it.

Nobody has to tolerate people with absolutely disgusting beliefs that treat humans as less-than. It's called the Paradox of Tolerance, genius.

Your self awareness is lacking. You do realize this is exactly how each side feels?

In other words, the only speech that needs to be protected is speech that I agree with. Can you see why that might be a problem?

And who sets the standards and rules for this social construct?

I and many other people in society think abortion is murder. It violates the social construct and general belief that murder is bad.
If I am intolerant of your belief that abortion is acceptable, does that make me now tolerant?

Don’t “both sides” this.

Common decency.

Your views on abortion are not valid but they also have zero to do with this discussion.

Anonymous wrote:This BS about "intolerant liberals" has really got to stop.

Refusing to support and welcome a person who has been actively hostile to many Americans (women, immigrants, etc.) is in no way the same as the active hostility displayed by that person. JD Vance might be a father and husband, but he is also a conservative Republican who is intolerant of many, many people. Not welcoming him into an inclusive community only counts as "intolerance" if you're already a bigot. As for his wife and kids, she married him and as a woman of color supports him. She shouldn't be welcome either. It's certainly too bad if their kids feel unwelcome in the neighborhood, but given that the policies JD Vance wants to enact separate other children from their families, some rich kids feeling a little sad doesn't really compare.

Consequences have actions. Being a proud bigot will absolutely result in people not wanting to hang out with you. Be less of a bigot, or move where the other bigots live. Problem solved.

You are a sad, brainwashed loser.

Name that person who did this and I swear to God I will mail you $500.

Am loving watching all of the Trumpers here preaching tolerance. Thanks for the good laugh. You guys are a lot of things, but I did not know comedians were among them.

Did a "well regulated militia" vandalize his home and attempt to drive his wife and kids out of town?

Why are his wife and kids living here anyway? Isn't he a Senator from Ohio?

Yeah, it’s kind of funny that they’re living a cushy Blue life while Vance is denigrating the values that help his family live comfortably.

Not all families relocate. Why aren’t his biracial kids growing up surrounded by the values and priorities that Vance claims to uphold?

You just don’t like him. If he left his family in Ohio, you’d criticize that. I don’t like him either, but you’re ridiculous.

It is true that I don’t like him. If his family lived in a conservative neighborhood in Ohio, I would still dislike him, but would applaud his ability to practice what he preaches, and appreciate his ongoing connections with his constituents. If he lived in a very conservative neighborhood in Virginia, I would still dislike him, but would leave any further criticisms up to the people he represents.
