As a general rule, Americans prefer having standup people in the White House. Of course that doesn’t always happen, and won’t this time sadly. Whichever way it goes.

And, you’re establishing this fact because her husband, before they were married, knocked up the nanny, when she wasn’t ever in the picture? Even though this individual isn’t actually running for office? And on these grounds you determined Harris is roughly equivalent to Trump, based on his personal conduct? Fascinating.

I think the point was that Doug Emhoff will be in the White House too.

Oh, I see. His physical presence will sully the hallowed grounds where Marilyn Monroe f***** JFK and who knows what else happened.

Wait until Mark Kelly appears on the scene.

What?? Please don’t tell me his devoted husband persona is fake. I’ll be heartbroken, and many many others.

Well as long as he avoids sleeping with the staff it shouldn't be a problem

Totally makes sense to hold Harris responsible for her husbands deeds, while not holding Trump responsible for his own deeds. On brand for GOP, I don’t know why I am constantly surprised re-learning what degenerates you guys are.

I'm not expecting much really. He ran for Senate and nothing came up then

Nothing came up on Harris/Emhoff during vp vetting. Or they figured out how to bury it for a time. Ugh.

I don't use the word "slut" and no one here has called her that. That is a derogatory term. I personally think getting favors for sleeping with someone in power is gross, unacceptable and disrespectful to other women but maybe you have a different opinion on things.

Who or what are you even talking about?

Weird.

He seems to have a great relationship with his ex and kids, fortunately. If that’s the extent of it, Harris says it was well before her time and a private family matter between him and his ex-wife. Next question.

It is weird that they think this story is going to get any traction. No one gives a flying

I really don’t care, do you?

If you think Emhoff's affair is an unacceptable scandal then you have absolutely no business whatsoever voting for Trump.

This is it. Among all those running, we have Trump and all of his massive scandals (and no doubt there are many more hidden), and we have RFK Jr the sex addict and serial womanizer - be "disappointed" all you like but next to anyone else, Doug Emhoff is nowhere near as bad. And, he isn't even running for office.

Anyone who would ever in a million years think, "well that does it! I'm not voting for Harris, I'm voting for Trump/RFK Jr because of this scandal" is absolutely not operating with a full deck of cards.

Republicans: STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT WHATABOUTISM. Own how bad your guy is. OWN IT. Anything short of that is straight up dishonest.

Right.
Unless there's way more to the story. This is nothing.

I honestly don't know why they are bothering with this and the race stuff.

They should stick to the border, the economy and. Transgender rights.
