Joe is out

I disagree. Trump’s convention speech was a complete disaster. The convention was a total clown show. JD Vance has no experience and nobody actually knows what it is that he stands for since he changes his stance so much. The GOP wanted Joe to stay in the race. Kamala can speak coherently about abortion rights, J6 and Project 2025.

Wow - Obama is going to succeed in getting Trump elected twice.

You can't give up the power of the incumbency and be a lame duck for 18 months.

That said:

Joe should be praised for what he did for this country in 2020 and Kamala should carry the mantle of the Biden Coalition and bring centrists to the table to defeat MAGA and Trump once and for all.

His presidency has been a disaster and Kamala would be worse.

Were shelves empty of toilet paper under Biden?
Did the UN Assembly laugh at Biden?
No?

Not a disaster.

There are valid reasons criticisms of the Trump administration, but it's tough to see how he is to blame for a virus originating in China and a bunch of nervous nellies panic-buying a bunch of TP. And who really cares what the UN Assembly thinks. The UN is a laughably inept body.

The GOP ads write themselves.

YES! And now TRUMP is the senile cranky grampa. Let's make something of HIS age.

Are you kidding? He specifically said in 2020 that he would *only* run as a one-term president. Then his ego got the better of him and he reneged on that. He might have had something of a “legacy” had he kept his word and allowed someone else to run in 2024. Instead, his legacy will be as a stubborn, diminished old man who had to be pushed out of the race.

I remember him saying this too and I'm pissed he didn't stick to this. This all could've been planned out a lot better. Also pissed at his team for hiding his decline. It is what it is though.

Endorses Kamala

I assume whoever she wants as VP, it will be an orderly decision.

No one blames him for the virus. They blame him for his terrible handling of it.

"It will be over in 3 weeks."

Did you forget that?

LOL. Please

Oh please! He held on and was pushed out. Doesn’t seem selfless in the least. If anything it was utterly selfish to hang on for so long. Anyway good that he finally did it.

He didn't have to pull out.

Selfless.

And yet he shows himself capable of doing the right thing for the good of the country.

Unlike Trump.

He was pushed out. We all know this. Stop the fiction that he selflessly and gracefully bowed out for the good of the country. He had no choice.

It still goes into the Biden-Harris campaign coffer, which Kamala will now control.

As long as she remains VP. Otherwise, it's a new campaign if she runs for POTUS.

False.

She now owns the campaign, the money and the infrastructure.
