UT has a cool downtown. Auburn has a tiny stamp of a town that sells burgers, sweet tea, and some pimento cheese. Thats about it.

Don't forget the lemonade!

That’s Georgia. Home of Chicfila.

Next time you are in Auburn, do yourself a favor and grab a lemonade at Toomer's. It makes Chick fil a taste like CountryTime.

There is a Publix walkable to Auburn campus. Tennessee is out just for that reason.

I do love their fresh sandwiches and chicken fingers. But I don’t love Alabama Tornadoes.

If Auburn could just update all of its buildings, it would actually be pretty cool. The business is nice. But everything else needs a major, major update.

The exercise was a ranking by academic quality of SEC schools. Stanford was a hair's breadth from being conference-less and will be screwed when the inevitable ACC breakup happens.

Publix is a Florida masterpiece. Pub subs are amazing. Have you ever had the chicken finger sub? Alabama has tornadoes, Tulane gets hurricanes as does Florida, California schools have mudslides, fires, and droughts, the northeast is too cold and the Midwest is too much basement time in winter, every school is going to have its issues with weather.

The ACC is growing, not contracting. The point being you can have exceptional academics and athletics. The great schools aren’t gonna settle for just one or the other.

This isn’t an exercise. It’s a fun discussion discussion -relax pal.

Downtown Auburn is head and shoulders above that hot mess of Knoxville.

There is a Publix one street over from UTK’s campus.

I got my Masters there and had no complaints. It’s a fun town, access to the Smokies was great, lots of accessible outdoor activities for breaks and weekends. I taught a few classes and had great students.
