| She dresses like she thinks she's already empress. Their arrogance and narcissism bleed through every grandee outfit she wears. Makes my skin crawl. |
Some person, who you don't know and will never met, wears clothing that makes your skin crawl when you seek out those pictures? And you attribute arrogance and narcissism to those clothing choices? Seems like a stretch. |
That's a really good way to put it. It sort of puts a finger on what rubs me the wrong way. But yeah it's like Disney empress meets local news anchor who's on her second job out of college. |
I'm honestly surprised she hasn't worn a tiara to some State event yet. |
I'm surprised she hasn't worn a tiara to breakfast! I'm sure it's coming. No objection to the capes, though. Capes forever. |
She's strategically dressing for an imperial role that she does not have. Yes, that's creepy as f--k. She clearly thinks she's heading for some Evita-type role. |
The Mickey and Minnie are photoshopped but yes, they did have an actual Disney wedding. |

This is crazy but I kind of like it. And at least it’s a formal evening event.
|
Case in point, the Serena Joy dress is REALLY formal for surveying hurricane damage.

Two different red dresses with capes
|
True, but I'd dress up too if I were touring with the President and VP. She's probably having lunch with them after. |
This is also a very summer evening wedding guest dress, worn to a daytime business event.
|
Maybe capes are going to be her thing, like Melania wearing coats over her shoulders was her thing. |
I think her problem is she doesn't really dress for the occasion, she dresses how she wants for the occasion. Sometimes that's okay, but when she's visiting the site of a catastrophe or at a serious event, she doesn't quite get the tone right. |
