a new thread about Casey DeSantis's strange fashion choices

No matter what politics you subscribe, be thankful.

This is a snarky thread about her fashion choices, not an earnest referendum on her worth as a person. Start your own boring thread in another forum.

Also, if it WERE a referendum on her worth as a person, I would rank her quite low, as she has allied herself with one of the most repugnant men in America.

You really enjoyed making fun of other kids in middle school, didn't you?

Nope. But she supports putting kids in cages, so there's that. But stay on topic, this is about FASHION and BEAUTY.

Yeah, she has the veneer of polish that a bit of money can impart, but scratch the surface and she's LMC all the way.

She's cosplaying being elite, but never quite gets it right.

I don't think elbow-length white gloves are appropriate daytime wear?

So critique her for that rather than just being misogynistic

She does actually look a lot like Teresa

They are because of chemo. Just stop, bully

Wow she lost a lotta and he gained a lotta weight. She’s aging well. He’s awful on so many levels.

Wait, did they have an actual Disney wedding? Like that's Mickey and Minnie behind them?

That kind of helps explain the ballgowns and gloves - she is dressing like the Disney princess she wants to be

I think she looks very nice, but he looks like an older, shorter and stout man next to her. Strangely enough, they have similar features and coloring so they look like niece and uncle.

Ahh...she can wear whatever she wants. No one is as bad as Trump and at least Casey does not have porny pictures and an x-rated past like Melania. Also, Casey can speak English, her voice is not grating, her parents are not here due to chain migration, she is not a blown up plastic doll and DeSantis is not some horribly weird sexual predator unlike Trump.

The bar for GOP is very low.

Ok, I actually did not know about the connection between chemo and gloves, so I will give her a pass on the gloves going forward (though I would still recommend staying away from elbow-length during the day!)

You may not have noticed, but this is the Beauty and Fashion forum, not the Politics forum. Overtly political posts will be removed. So I will just focus on the fact that she seems to be under the mistaken impression that she is a Disney princess, rather than her loathsome beliefs.

Yes and the forum is primarily for helping people find clothes and beauty products, not tearing women down snd rewinding progress with misogynistic threads. So simply don't post sh*t threads like this or go with the bullying crowd because it only hurts women in general.

Honestly that’s why her fashion sense seems kind of strange. The formality she prefers is weird for Florida.

I am OP - and she used to be a newscaster, I think, so I guess it makes sense in the contact of someone who's always wearing those stretchy dresses on local news. But it is really weirdly formal overall.

And look - I loathe her and her husbands' politics, but, as has been said 100 times, she's stunning looking. But the clothes are just - I don't know!

I actually like that mint green cape dress. Not on her, though? Like it looks like something that a royal should wear - not the wife of the guy who's trying to destroy education and is whistling through while the state's home insurance market collapses.

Or the dress! Who wears a dress like that to a daytime event? It's just a weird choice! I'm sorry, it just is a weird weird choice.

I don’t understand what the connection is between the gloves and having gone through chemotherapy, unless her hands bother her from chemo induced neuropathy? I ask this as someone who has gone through chemo, surgery and radiation for breast cancer 3 years ago.

Her fashion choices are fine but her choice of husband is beyond questionable.
