What is your opinion of tattoos?

I don't have any (nor does DH) and don't find tons of tattoos attractive, but I think a tattoo or two can look great and depending on location and look can be very sexy. But neck, face, and back-of-hand tattoos make me uncomfortable.

I know lots of people with no trauma or drug issues who have one or a few tattoos. I don't personally know anyone with tons of tattoos...I don't think.

Tattoos don’t like nice on everyone. For example people without culture, looks trashy.

LOL--I can deal with everyone. Just saying the cry for help tattoos are a thing and don't come off the same way the creative types' do. I am dealing with all kinds of people, tattooed and not, at all times and making it work.

Personally I generally think they make people more attractive. But that's my aesthetic preference, like how I like flat stomachs and small breasts and height and dark hair. I'm neutral to less attractive about piercings.

Even the very artistically done images typically don't look very good when applied to skin. They look even worse as the tattoo fades and the body ages.

The only time they look attractive is when it's an excellent piece of art tattooed on a very attractive body -- and, basically without exception, that body would've looked even more attractive without the tattoo.

My most recent tattoo experience is a 50 year old friend who got some kind of trite phrase in cursive on her forearm. It wasn't "hang in there kitty!" but that's what I think of when I see it.

Tattoos remind me of being in a hard-core biker gang.

I find even one tattoo can make a person look less attractive.

I like a clean-cut look, not a coloring book look.

The worst tattoos are the “sleeves.”
And the worst part of tattoos in general is how bad all of the people will look in like the next 30 yrs. or so once their skin wrinkles and they get age spots…..
