Do you think they make a person more attractive when they have them?
I don't think they make a person more or less attractive. I think it just looks like the person got a tattoo. I know people who seem to think a tattoo makes a person more "alluring." I don't agree. |
Trashy in most cases. |
Gauche and vulgar. |
Typically found on attention-whores. |
+1 This is so spot on. |
In what cases wouldn't it be? |
They can look sexy on certain men, but those guys tend to already be sexy. Otherwise, gross.
And I know I'm being ridiculous, but on women I just think they look terrible. Like wow, you tainted your beautiful soft skin for THAT? Now you look like you need to talk a shower. I'm a woman, and I know I'm being sexist. Wish I could get over this. |
I personally think they have kind of a rough, masculine look. For that reason I find them attractive on handsome, fit, men and think they can even enhance the persons appearance if they have a bad boy vibe.
While I can respect the artistry of a well done tattoo there is no scenario where I think a woman looks better with one. That said, I’m all for people not giving an f about what my personal preferences are. |
Yuck |
Vulgar. |
This, women should never get them. I’m a guy and I will never have tattoos myself but I only ever hear women mention liking tattoos on guys, never the other way around. I always hear women getting defensive/insecure about them too, like even if a chick doesn’t have tattoos she might have a female friend with them and when I mention to her that I’m not a fan of tattoos and how unattractive they are on women, a lot of chicks don’t like to hear this. It’s a very unfortunate social trend that I hope reverses. |
I just saw a woman with a honeycomb tattoo up her leg with a bee on it. It reminds me of strawberry skin. Not a good look. |
Gut reaction, no matter how much I do appreciate the artistry of some tattoos, is that they look like the person's skin eternally needs washing. I know--in reality, they're perfectly clean, etc. But it's my gut reaction. They just are unnatural looking to me and something about them makes me feel like the person should scrub. |
Not a fan. I'd still have married DH if he'd had one or two small-ish ones. Tattoos on backs of hands, neck or face would be deal breakers for me. |
Trash. I find it disgusting. Just don't do it. If you want to improve your appearance, do a facial or dye your hair. Or a nose job. But not a tattoo |
