This might be semi-true but I can promise you that in America today Indians and Chinese definitely outcompete jewish kids. Its honestly like not even close. Just go to Caltech, MIT, Georgia Tech you'll see that they operate at a different level. There's a reason that any engineering/CS school is jam packed with Indians |
Emory sounds like a nice college to attend. Quite selective though. |
| Emory or WashU for business? Finance especially? |
Emory places more people into Wall Street and generally has a better reputation within business/finance |
| WUSTL has a much higher ranked (for 2023) undergraduate business school than Emory |
That is not true. I worked on wall street for 20 years and never met one person from Emory. |
This is an issue common to Emory and Wash U. Kids looking for the typical college social experience are better off elsewhere. Tulane on the other hand, is perhaps the other extreme. |
| Excellent points about visiting and letting your kids see where they fit. |
That just says more.about you lol. https://www.collegetransitions.com/dataverse/top-feeders-banking Emory had very good placement ...WashU not really. |
No it's not, they're ranked the same. https://www.usnews.com/best-colleges/rankings/business-overall |
Nope, not true. WashU (Olin) ranked top 10 undergrad business schools for 2023, not Emory (Goizueta) |
Did you even click the link? |
https://poetsandquantsforundergrads.com/rankings/poetsquants-best-undergraduate-business-schools-of-2023/ WashU top 10 https://www.niche.com/colleges/search/best-colleges-for-business/ WashU #5, Emory#29 |
Why would I use niche or that over site over USnews lol. What's the point of reaching? WashU doesn't make the top 30 for Investment banking placement regardless. |
Tell yourself whatever makes you happy. |
