His ex gf also said he abandoned their kids for Britney Spears. His wife is a criminal. And of course we don’t get negative stories about them because he’s the one putting out the negative stories. I personally don’t mind people living off CS. Seems perfectly fair if they’re doing the work. But I don’t understand why there is this big push to say Kevin is a great parent in a way that you would never see for anyone else. There’s not threads and threads about what a great mom any of Tristan Thomason’s non-kardashian baby mamas are and they’re doing literally the same thing K Fed is. |

I don't understand why people are so invested in this drama and so convinced that they have personal, inside knowledge of the facts. People get hysterical over this topic and it is so bizarre.
We have no idea what's going on in that family. From all accounts it looks like the kids are well taken care of and are living a somewhat normal life, which is what most people would want for their children. Britney seems mentally ill, Federline seems cheesey, but other than that we have no idea if he's nice or a jerk or has other income. None. |
Sounds like most posters on this thread didn't even read what she wrote. She didn't attack her kids at all. |
Every article written about her uses the word custody. https://www.lifeandstylemag.com/posts/does-britney-spears-have-custody-of-kids-preston-and-jayden/ https://www.cosmopolitan.com/entertainment/celebs/a39694287/britney-spears-kids-sean-jayden/ Looks like initially she had visitation but after the conservatorship she had custody. |
Sam and his kids with his next wife will live quite well off of Britney’s money. |
Yup. I don’t understand all this “K Fed is a great dad” when there is literally no evidence of that and plenty of evidence that he is using the kids because he is greedy. |
Yeah, it’s telling that all the people here attacking Britney are attacking her because she said her kids would have to make their way in the world. My guess is the people attacking Britney are probably exes living off of child support, and they are themselves freaking out at that getting cut off. |
DP. I'm not "living off of child support" but our kids will get whatever money is left when DH and I die. Sure, we're not rich so we don't have to consider the problems that lots of money causes for children, but we also don't threaten to cut them off when they act "hateful" towards us. Of course teens act hateful towards their parents sometimes - if they never did, I would worry about insincerity. She isn't totally cut off from her kids, she's had custody and/or visitation for their entire lives. Why wouldn't she want the best for them? Will she also "want her new baby to make his/her way in the world"? Or will the new baby get lots of money from her? |
What are you blabbing on about? Bleak? She was literally forced to work against her will for almost 15 years by her family, with custody used as a tool to keep her compliant. That is bleak. Normal views of families and mothers do not apply here. She was treated as a tool and a money pot, while disregarded entirely as a person. Her kids are publicly shaming her. She doesn’t have to keep supporting them all. |
Agree, the court wasn’t renewing the conservatorship for all those years without evidence. |
Congratulations, you won the award for most clueless comment on this thread. |
I hate when people say "well, Warren Bufftet and Bill Gates aren't leaving their kids inheritance. Great parents!" Yes - many years from now when Warren and Bill die, they probably won't leave their kids big inheritances. Big whoop. Who paid for their kids' college educations? Do you think the Gates kids had to take out college loans? Who paid for their graduate school education? Isn't one of the Gates kids in medical school? Do you think she is taking out loans? Who paid for their kids' private schooling if they went private? Who helped with wedding costs? Do you think Jennifer Gates and her new husband had to scrimp and save to pay for their wedding? Who helped with downpayment of first house? Extreme example but do you think Jennifer Gates took out mortgages for all her multi-million dollar properties? No! Her parents brought properties for her - https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/bill-gates-and-melinda-gates-bought-daughter-jennifer-gates-a-dollar5-million-nyc-apartment Do you think any grandchildren of Bill Gates and Warren Buffet will need to worry about paying for college/first house? Or do you think their grandparents have already set up trusts for them? If heaven forbid, any of the Gates or Buffet children have children of their own with high medical needs, do you think there will be a trust from which they can pay medical bills? All provided by Bill and Warren? So yeah...when Bill and Warren die, they probably won't leave much to their kids in a will (although, didn't I read that Melinda will now give them more than 10 million in her will?). Big whoop. They already got so much money while they were growing up/they've already been set up for the future. What do they need an inheritance for? I so hate when people act like Bill and Warren aren't giving their kids inheritances, aren't they great? When they give them tons of money prior to their deaths! I hope for Preston's and Jayden's benefits there is a college trust for them. A trust so they can buy a first house. A trust so they can be comfortable. I hope Britney isn't really cutting them off at the age of 18 and they will have to struggle for college/whatever. |
+1 I'm a pp and people don't seem to understand what a conservatorship entails. She could not take a Tylenol on her own, or own a phone, or drive. Sure, she had some custody visits but she was restricted from parenting in the way she wanted because she had zero control over her own life. Also, what does it mean to a kid to see that your mom has a headache and she has to ask for permission to take a Tylenol. That really messes with a family dynamic. |
A hit dog hollers. |
I don’t know about Warren Buffet, but when Bill Gates and Laurene Jobs say they’re not leaving their billions to their kids it doesn’t mean they will be left penniless. They will get millions, just not the whole pie. All of Steve Jobs’ children received a multi-million dollar sum upon his death. |
