Agree.  All she said was that she was not leaving the kids any inheritance. When they turn eighteen, she was cutting them off and they would have to work. Warren a buffet also said e wasn’t leaving his kids an inheritance. [/quote]

She's disinheriting her kids?  And because Warren Buffet, who raised his kids and gave them his wisdom and his love (as well as lots of stocks and a $2b foundation each), pledged not to give his billions to his kids, it's admirable or even acceptable for her to do the same?  She hasn't given her kids her wisdom, her love, or her presence.  Disinheriting them is cruel of her.  Not exactly unexpected though.[/quote]

Yes - many years from now when Warren and Bill die, they probably won't leave their kids big inheritances. Big whoop.

Who paid for their kids' college educations? Do you think the Gates kids had to take out college loans?
Who paid for their graduate school education? Isn't one of the Gates kids in medical school? Do you think she is taking out loans?
Who paid for their kids' private schooling if they went private?
Who helped with wedding costs? Do you think Jennifer Gates and her new husband had to scrimp and save to pay for their wedding?
Who helped with downpayment of first house? Extreme example but do you think Jennifer Gates took out mortgages for all her multi-million dollar properties? No! Do you think any grandchildren of Bill Gates and Warren Buffet will need to worry about paying for college/first house? Or do you think their grandparents have already set up trusts for them?
If heaven forbid, any of the Gates or Buffet children have children of their own with high medical needs, do you think there will be a trust from which they can pay medical bills? All provided by Bill and Warren?

So yeah...when Bill and Warren die, they probably won't leave much to their kids in a will (although, didn't I read that Melinda will now give them more than 10 million in her will?). Big whoop. They already got so much money while they were growing up/they've already been set up for the future. What do they need an inheritance for?

I so hate when people act like Bill and Warren aren't giving their kids inheritances, aren't they great? When they give them tons of money prior to their deaths!

I hope for Preston's and Jayden's benefits there is a college trust for them. A trust so they can buy a first house. A trust so they can be comfortable. I hope Britney isn't really cutting them off at the age of 18 and they will have to struggle for college/whatever.[/quote]
