Only elite if you fast pass it. |
I think right now they are all on yachts in St. Barths. |
This. |
This. Working professionals have a habit of conflating themselves with the *truly elite* |
Lololol |
For skiing, Lech-Zurs in Austria. |
My friend, who married into wealth, frequently traveled to Cabo, St. Tropez, Bora Bora, and the like — mostly beach vacations, but they would occasionally go to Paris. Her husband had a yacht and a private jet. |
Very interesting, indeed. I’ll never have this life, but I don’t think I want to, based on the description. |
I got to vacation/ski at Yellowstone Club over New Years (guests of friends who have a home there). Such a pampered luxe experience. Totally get the distinction now between working rich and the truly elite. Its miles/worlds apart. |
If you are talking about old money elites, they tend to go to old-school but not necessarily super posh places: Mill Reef Club in Antigua, Coral Beach Club on Bermuda and summer in places like Dark Harbor, Quogue, Old Black Point. |
+1, and Lyford Cay and Baker's Bay - very few "working rich." Full of old money and those with billions/100+ million. |
Yes to lyford cay. Windemere in Eleuthra. And harbour island, bahamas. Definitely Mill Reef Club in Antigua. look at all of the Slim Aarons photos from both Lyford and Mill Reef Club - though its a bit old and stuffy now for my taste. Think the younger hipper "old money elites" tend to swarm to other places that skew younger - Montana, Cartagena, Caryeyes, Mustique, Bakers Bay, El Dorado Club, Pedasi etc. |
Are these hotels? Never heard of them. |
Used to be Jeffrey Epstein’s island, not sure now. |
I would think that “the elite” vacation wherever the want! |
