$250k. Attorney at a small firm. 1500 billable hour requirement. Sometimes wish I had stuck it out in big law when I see big law salaries and the culture seems to have shifted in favor of allowing work from home even at big firms. I originally left to be able to work from home.
95k federal contractor doing communications. More than 20 years experience. Probably I’m underpaid, according to DCUM.
Even if that's true (and at least for my current biglaw friends, they are all planning to be back in the office on at least a hybrid plan beginning in January), the billable requirements have not changed. My friends all consistently bill 2000+ hours as counsel/partners (and this in LA, not even NYC which is brutal). So yes, you could definitely make much more money but not for billing 1500 hours a year. |
92k Statistician
$240k, attorney at one of the financial fed agencies
What is the "hard pill to accept" here, exactly? That a $200k salary (probably one spouse in a two-earner HH, btw) no longer makes you upper middle class, according to...you? |
I made 412K last year as a partner in a small law firm. This year I didn't work quite as much and will come in around 375K.
120k (DCPS teacher— my 13th year teaching)
Health and fitness coach $60K. I don't do it for the money, I love what I do. DH is a very high earner. Sometimes I miss my sales and BD career, but I love my clients and thrive on their successes.
$60k this year but I only work 20hrs per week totally around my kids' schedules so we don't need childcare
Right? What a way to stroke your ego

About 270k base and bonus. More with RSUs. I’m an attorney at a mid-sized tech firm.
$275-325k depending on the year, sales
How is this a question? I earn 60% of my household’s income, within the salary range for my position shown on Glassdoor.
$350K - ish but can vary. Solo atty.
