Thank you!

You think they are honoring the appointments made yesterday?

Yep. Rumor is it was a Beta site but they're honoring.

I got my kids schedules at INOVA, but December is so far out.

Where is the well covid vaccine clinic?

December is next month and we've already been at this for 18 months. What's another month? Please don't start acting crazy now that the vaccine was JUST approved.

The Cvs website is down for me. Hopefully this means they are updating with a pediatric option!

I was thinking the same thing. The same message was visible the night they added boosters for JJ recipients.

Not funny. Don’t do this to people. It’s still 12+ at Safeway.

This is PP. I’m not lying. I tried Giant and CVS websites, but they wouldn’t let me go further once I put in the birthdate. But the Safeway one did. I put in the birthdate and all the rest of the info and it let me make an appointment for phase 1 of Pfizer. I am in Alexandria. I had to do a search to see which Safeway had available appointments but I got one for tomorrow. Then the system preloaded all my DCs info onto the waiver that I have to print out and bring with us and it clearly states my child is 11. So I guess we see what happens.

You should call the pharmacy tomorrow before you take your child there - they may only have the adult sized doses available.

I just saw this message on the Safeway pharmacy site: PLEASE NOTE: Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine for ages 5-11 years. We're now offering Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11 at on-site school clinics. Please contact your local school district for more information. (Individual appointments will be in-store in the future. Please check back in a week.)

Post a screenshot and a link or you're a nasty liar.

I saw this too. It means get your shot at a school clinic/ we don’t have appointments now.

VAMS updated their website just after 9 PM tonight. They have a section now for 5-11 yr olds but the only appointments I could find were over by Foggy Bottom, which isn't even in VA, right?

That's the only one listed and it doesn't have any available appointments from what I can see.

My kid sees his cardiologist later this week. Any chance they will have a shot?

Doubtful, based on what I've read. Shots will go to pediatricians, not specialists.

Not really, no.
